December 2015 Peaches and Petals Unboxing
Because of our love for subscription boxes, one of my friends and I decided to exchange subscription boxes as Christmas gifts. My friend got me my favorite box, Peaches and Petals! We were both away for the holidays, so we only met recently to exchange our presents. I was incredibly happy with what I received.
The first item I took out of the box was a c. Booth lavender mineral bath soak. Lavender is my favorite scent, so I’m looking forward to using this. Also, I appreciate that the bottle is full-size and not a sample - one of the many reasons I love Peaches and Petals. This mineral soak usually sells for $15.
The second item was a cute earring & necklace set. I’m torn on what to do with it, because I don’t have pierced ears. The necklace is cute, so I’d be happy to wear that by itself, but because they’re a matching set, I think perhaps they should stick together. I love the colors, though - green is my fave. The layering of the necklaces is also cool and trendy. I’m not quite sure how to value the set because it’s not branded, so I’ll give a pessimistic estimate of $10.
The third item was CHOCOLATE!! Specifically, a Lindt milk chocolate truffle bar. I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate, but I ate this anyway. It still tasted good because it’s high-quality chocolate rather than the junk candy kind. This bar is probably worth around $1.
The fourth item was a Spa Bella eye mask. Because I use the computer so much, my eyes often feel dry and tired. This mask looks like a good way to help alleviate some of my discomfort. I’m looking forward to trying it and I like that it can be used both hot and cold. A mask like this sells on Amazon for about $2.50.
The fifth and final item was a beautiful Avidlove kimono robe. I think this kimono is super cute and it feels comfortable. Plus, it has POCKETS.
The picture above shows a close-up of the kimono’s material. When I first saw a picture, I thought it would be cheap, but it looks to be of decent quality. These particular kimono robes sell for $15.
You can probably see why I enjoyed this box so much! My friend paid $15 for the box, which provided $43.50 in value. Not only that, but the items are cute and practical. The box seemed to have a spa theme and I’m looking forward to pampering myself a bit with the mineral soak, eye mask, and kimono robe. Considering the robe alone costs $15, I’d considered this purchase $15 well-spent.
Plus, exciting news: Peaches and Petals has offered an exclusive 50% off coupon code for everyone reading this review! Simply follow this link and enter the code “SUBHUBPEACH” to get your first box for $7.49 (including shipping!) Wondering what you might get? The December box also included a spoiler for January:

I know it seems like I’m crazy about Peaches and Petals, and that’s because I am. Let me know if you give it a try - I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
