Little Passports "Early Explorers" Introductory Kit
I don’t have pictures of the individual items in the Little Explorers Intro Kit, because Xander wanted to play with it right away. It also didn’t contain items for which individual price quotes were viable, so I’ll instead just give a breakdown of items and the extent to which Xander enjoyed them.
To reiterate, this review covers the Intro Kit you receive when you sign up for a new Little Passports “Early Explorers” subscription. The “Early Explorers” subscription is a special package from Little Passports that is designed for children ages 3 to 5.
What the Little Passports “Early Explorers” kit contained:
Small, durable orange suitcase
Full-size world map poster
20-page activity booklet
Stickers and postcard-looking photo
Xander really enjoyed the box! He started by taking the stickers and putting them in their appropriate places - each sticker corresponded with a continent and the activity book contained spots for the stickers to be placed. There was also a set of stickers to put on the suitcase, which Xander quickly did in no discernable order.
We then looked at the world map and he asked me about the different continents. He really wants to go to Antarctica to meet penguins. Alaska is also a desired destination for him, so maybe he’ll be happy with the penguins he meets there.
Once we’d covered the world map, Xander got into his activity booklet. Some activities required colored crayons, which we didn’t have at the time, so we skipped over those. There were still plenty of activities for him to do with a pen, like tracing shapes and matching pictures.
Overall, Xander really enjoyed Little Passport’s “Early Explorers” introductory kit. By the time I left, he still had a number of activities to complete in the book, and I could tell he plans to make full use of the suitcase. We’re both looking forward to seeing what the next couple of months offer.
P.S. The December giveaway on Monthly Box Hub is of a 3-month subscription to Little Passports! You can choose the “Early Explorers” package or one of the packages designed for older children. I’ve included the giveaway form below; you can also find it on the Giveaway page.
