November 2015 Kawaii Box Review + GIVEAWAY
I’ve seen Kawaii Box all over the place, so I was incredibly excited to have a chance to review them! My friend Keiko joined me and we unpacked a bounty of goodies that were just as cute as adorable as I’d hoped.
The first item that Keiko took out of the box was a bean plush. Not only is the plush adorable from the outside, but it can be unzipped to reveal three small peas on the inside. This was Keiko’s favorite item, and I can see why! In addition to its cuteness, the plush also comes with an estimated value of $4.
The second item was a harajuku bag charm. This charm is not my style, but that doesn’t mean I can’t put it to use - Annabeth, my cat, seems to LOVE playing with the charms. I’m afraid she might break the smaller parts off and swallow them, so I will make sure she is supervised when she plays with it. The bell is her favorite part. The charm is valued at $3.
The third item was a pen that featured a rain boot for a cap. This is a cute item that also offers utility by nature of being a pen. As I mentioned in the video, items that are both cute and useful are my favorites. This pen is valued at $2.
The fourth item was a bread-shaped phone charm that looks delicious enough to eat! This charm features a design meant to emulate an emoticon. The charm is valued at $2.
The fifth item was a set of little highlighters in five different colors. Because the item is both useful and cute, it’s one of my favorites of the bunch. It’s also one of the higher-valued items with an estimated cost of $5.
The sixth item was a box of strawberry Pocky. It’s often nice to get a smidge of candy in variety boxes like this one, so I appreciated its inclusion. I’m on a fairly strict eating plan, but this is a small enough quantity that I can probably snack on it without too many problems. This particular box of Pocky usually costs $4.
The seventh item was a SUPER KAWAII 2016 desktop calendar. This calendar was my favorite of all the items in the box because I hadn’t previously gotten a calendar for next year and I prefer the calendar’s ability to stand on its own versus calendars that need to be hung on a wall. Plus, it’s super adorable! This calendar sells for $5.50 at Blippo.
The eighth item was a Christmas card with a matching envelope. The card features a cute reindeer design that can be opened to reveal a slightly altered design. This unique design pairs well with the card’s appealing illustration to craft a card that I’ll be happy to send to someone this Christmas season. The cards are usually sold in sets of 16, with a single card and envelope set being valued around $0.50.
The ninth item, a set of puffy Christmas stickers, complemented the previous item well. I can see myself adding these stickers to the card I received in the box along with some of the other cards I plan to send. They’re fun to look at and provide some extra texture to cards. The sticker set is valued at $2.
The tenth and final item was a cute bunny canvas pouch. The pouch features an adorable design that can be pulled shut using a drawstring at the top. I plan to use this pouch to store many of the items I received. The pouch is valued at $6.
Before I continue, I should mention that there was an additional item, which would have been the eleventh item, listed on the box details card. The box was also meant to include a “kawaii fruit hair pin set” that I don’t seem to have received. While I wish I could’ve gotten the set, I’m still happy with the box because...
Overall, the November 2015 Kawaii Box contained over $34 in items. For a box that costs less than $20, that’s a great value. Not only that, but many of the items can be put to use. For example, I can use the rain boot pen to write in the Christmas card set that is adorned with the Christmas stickers. I also plan to use the desktop calendar once the new year hits. The adorableness of all the items only adds to its appeal.
I have some good news, you can win a Kawaii box of your own! And guess what? This giveaway is open WORLDWIDE. Enter with the Rafflecopter widget below.
