July 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box Review
Serendipity by Little Lace Box is one of my top five subscription boxes. It’s a low-cost subscription box delivered on the off-months of the bi-monthly Little Lace Box that always provides cool products at a great value for a low price.

This month, the July 2016 Serendipity box, is the first box in an annual subscription I purchased. How did it compare to the previous boxes I received?
The first item of the July 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box was a Parfum Sachet from LeBlanc France. This item isn’t recognizable at first glance, but after you take the sachet out of the bag, it’s much easier to identify its use: to be placed in an area with the intent of improving the surrounding scent. The bag has a strong scent, although I wasn’t able to figure out which of the 4 possible fragrances I received; I attribute that to a lack of knowledge of scents on my part. Still, this is a nice-smelling item that I plan to use to promote a nice smell in my apartment.
Estimated value: $4 (Source: SoapKing / Your French Gift.)
The second item was a chevron necklace from MyKitsch. This is a cute necklace that appears to be of decent quality. I would’ve preferred the alternative pearl/gold layering necklace that some subscribers received, but I like this necklace too. I think it’s a nice accent piece for a variety of outfits and it matches current trends.
Estimated value: $23 (Source: MyKitsch / Little Lace Box.)
The third item was a 100% cotton terry headband from Boca Terry. Although this product doesn’t look too extraordinary, I am incredibly pleased to have gotten it! I get headaches often, which leads me to place cool washclothes on my head that slide off whenever I move. This headband will be a definite improvement by preventing the cloth from sliding off my head. In addition, I could see this being useful for keeping hair out of my face while I’m doing my morning makeup.
Estimated value: $4 (Source: Boca Terry.)
The fourth item was a 1oz container of Riche Hand Butter from Pre de Province in a Starflower scent. Hand butter is nice to receive both for my own uses and for gifting, and this appears to be a high-quality hand butter in a unique scent. There were multiple fragrances that subscribers could’ve received and I’m happy with the Starflower scent.
Estimated value: $8 (Source: Amazon / Little Lace Box.)
The fifth and final item was a 3-in-1 Blush Highlighter Shadow from MannaKadar Beauty in a Fantasy variety (aka Nude Blush Pink.) This is a great, versatile product that I highly appreciated as a person who is getting more interested in exploring different beauty products. I’ll probably use this most as an eyeshadow, but it’s nice to have the option of using it as blush or highlighter.
Estimated value: $19 (Source: MannaKadar.)
Overall, the July 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box contained around $58 worth of products. For a single-box cost of $13, that’s a great value! Furthermore, I have an annual subscription that reduces the cost per box to $10, so it’s an even better deal.
The variety of products was just as impressive as in previous months. All of the products are practical and have reliable uses. They fit a “pampered” theme, yet had enough differentiation to each satisfy a different need.
In the end, I was satisfied with every item that was included in this month’s Serendipity by Little Lace Box and I appreciated the high value of the box. I look forward to seeing what comes over the following year of my subscription, of which the next box will come in September.
